Revolutionary Congress
The Revolutionary Congress of the Blair Mountain League, often referred to as the Party Congress and previously as the Revcong, is the annual meeting of the general party membership. All Party members in good standing may attend, speak, vote, and run for election to Party office. Under the Party Constitution, the Revcong is the supreme organ of party power and is vested with numerous powers such as electing the Revcomit, deliberating on major issues affecting the Party, adopting resolutions, and amending the Party Constitution itself. The Party Congress also decides who the Party will nominate for election to the major state political offices, such as People's Commissioner and Prime Minister, at the Summer convocation of the Congress of People's Councils.
The Congress convenes annually in the summer at the Palace of Red July in New Richmond City; however, emergency convocations may be held by order of the Revcomit or any people's council. The First Revolutionary Congress was held on the 29th of July 2022 (2RY) and was presided over by the respected Chairwoman Mother Hewitt; the next Congress is tentatively scheduled for the same day in 2023 (3RY).
