National Development Fund
The National Development Fund (or NDF) was established by the First Annual Economic Plan on the 8th of November 2021 (1RY). The NDF is a voluntary donation fund which serves as the Central People's Government's sole source of income. NDF money can be allocated to state workers' cooperatives at the discretion of the Ministry of Economic Development and Fiscal Affairs (or MEDFA) to purchase supplies or meet other financial needs; alternatively, it can be allocated to individual citizens on request as a form of government-sponsored aid in times of financial hardship. MEDFA is required to compile quarterly reports on the NDF's intake and expenditure to ensure government transparency and correct use of funds.
For the 2022-2023 economic planning period, MEDFA has set the NDF's fundraising goal to 600 United States dollars - roughly 41.67 dollars per month. If you are a citizen and are interested in donating to the NDF or have an inquiry related to a hardship relief grant, contact the Minister for Economic Development and Fiscal Affairs. |
