Diplomatic Relations of the NRR
Through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or MOFA), the New Richmond Republic engages in diplomatic relations with various other micronations across the globe; additionally, the Republic is party to certain intermicronational conventions. The Republic is a signatory of the Augusta Accord.

At present, the New Richmond Republic is not accepting unsolicited requests for diplomacy. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs prioritizes enacting treaties with micronations that share history and/or common ideals with the Republic and stresses the need for a small, consolidated diplomatic network.
Full relations via treaty
At present, the Republic has signed treaties with the following nations:
- Socialist Federal Union of Ponderosa Hills, mutual recognition and friendship, 13th of September 2021 (1RY).
- Principality of Sancratosia, mutual recognition and relations, 8th of March 2022 (1RY).
- The Würtige Empire, mutual recognition and formal diplomacy, 20th of August 2022 (2RY); including the sovereign member-states:
- Desert District, diplomacy and friendship, 13th of February 2023 (2RY).
Informal relations
In addition to nations with which the Republic maintains treaties, the NRR also mutually recognizes and maintains informal relations with a number of nations, including (but not limited to):

- Republic of Ashukovo
- Empire of Austenasia
- Republic of Molossia
- Commonwealth of New Virginia
