General Faine
Respected Comrade General Christopher L. "Chris" Faine, Jr. OBM is a senior state and party leader. General Faine was naturalized as a citizen of the Republic in December 2021 (1RY) and soon thereafter joined the Blair Mountain League. He currently serves as Prime Minister of the Republic, a member of the BML Revcomit, Minister for State Security, and Commandant-General of the Corps of People's Guards.
Comrade Chris was recruited to become a citizen to serve as the Corps' first permanent Commandant-General by Mother Hewitt, who at the time served as Minister for Foreign and Military Affairs. He was charged with organizing the first Revolutionary Guards - one in the east and one in the west - and recruiting the first guardians and guard commanders. He was chosen by the soldier's council of the Corps to be its delegate to the Congress of People's Councils. At the Second Congress in February 2022 (1RY), Comrade Chris was unanimously elected to lead the Ministry of Home Affairs and the newly-established Ministry of State Security.
General Faine was later designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary with the authority to represent the NRR to the micronational community at-large. He represented the NRR in the Grand Unified Micronational until its departure from that organization in June 2022 (1RY). He was appointed by Chairwoman Hewitt to serve as a member of the provisional Revcomit alongside herself and People's Commissioner K. Riley Hewitt, formally recognizing him as a major leader of the Party; he was formally elected to this office at the First Revolutionary Congress. At the ordinary session of the Third Congress of People's Councils, he was elected as the second Prime Minister of the Republic, succeeding the respected Mother Hewitt; he was later re-elected by the Fourth Congress. On Christmas Day 2022 (2RY), General Faine was awarded the Order of Blair Mountain by the respected Mother Hewitt in her capacity as People's Commissioner.
Prime Minister Faine resides in the United States a few miles from the City of New Richmond with his partner, Kaylan. He is currently enrolled in Marshall University and is studying to be a history teacher. He is a drummer and a rock music enthusiast. He enjoys fishing and other outdoors activities.
